About This Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our crew in a dynamic role aboard a premium vessel operating tours to Moreton Island.

This position offers a unique work environment, ideal for individuals with experience in hotels, restaurants, events, or tourism operations.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be part of a team that values exceptional customer experiences and adventure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations ensuring all tours run smoothly and on schedule
  • Manage guest experiences from boarding to disembarkation
  • Ensure highest standards of customer service at every touchpoint
  • Lead onboard food and beverage operation, ensuring quality, presentation, and service standards
  • Monitor onboard procedures, health & safety standards, and cleanliness
  • Conduct pre-shift briefings and debriefs with staff
  • Coordinate with shore-based operations and management for seamless communication and logistics
  • Handle guest feedback and resolve issues proactively and professionally
  • Mentor, train, and supervise crew to maintain a positive team culture
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 3+ years management experience in customer service environments
  • 3+ years of experience with food and beverage operations, including service standards and compliance
  • Permanent rights to work in Australia
  • Valid driver's license allowing you to drive in Queensland
  • RSA and Food Safety Supervisor certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Experience leading teams in fast-paced service environments
  • Strong background in customer service and guest engagement
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, engaging international guests
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Calm under pressure, with excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Positive, hands-on leadership style with a team-first attitude
