The Role: Branch Manager - Bowen

As the new Branch Manager for our Bowen rural branch, you will be responsible for managing a team of 3 and driving growth and development within the team. Your primary focus will be on providing exceptional customer service while maximizing efficiency and sales at the branch.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Team Development:
    • Provide strategic direction to the branch team.
    • Motivate employees and set individual performance goals.
    • Conduct regular performance appraisals.
    • Foster a positive work environment.
  • Operational and Financial Management:
    • Maximize branch efficiency and sales, maintaining margin on products.
    • Develop and maintain strong business relationships with current and potential customers.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to generate new opportunities in the district.
    • Represent the company at trade shows and conventions.
    • Regularly review and control production costs, operational expenses, and overheads.
    • Manage the branch budget and allocate funds effectively.
    • Prepare daily, weekly, or monthly reports.
About You:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic leader with exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills. You should have established experience in a senior leadership role, preferably in the rural sector, and possess technical and/or sales expertise. A valid driver's license and fork lift license (if available) are also essential.

A high level of reasoning, problem-solving, and planning skills is necessary for this role. You should be able to manage your time effectively, meet deadlines, and take responsibility for your output and quality of work. Knowledge and understanding of products, seasonal timing, and general requirements of rural producers in the area is advantageous but not essential.

Benefits:

Lindsay Australia Ltd offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide a diverse and inclusive work environment, where you can grow and develop your career.
