About the Role

We are seeking a Safety, Risk, and Environment Business Partner to support our State GM and leadership teams with advice, coaching, and technical support to improve business processes and workplace health and safety.

The ideal candidate will have relevant education in Safety Management, knowledge of relevant safety legislation, policies, and processes, and be able to interpret them effectively. They will also possess analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and a strong bias for action.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct internal reviews of systems and procedures to identify risks and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and communicate safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Provide expert advice and coaching to stakeholders to drive desired WHS behaviors and performance outcomes.
  • Lead the establishment, implementation, and maintenance of the safety and environmental risk management framework.
  • Assist with H&S risk management training, education, and in-field coaching to raise awareness of responsibilities and build capability.

About You

  • Relevant education in Safety Management.
  • Knowledge of relevant safety legislation, policies, and processes.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A strong bias for action.
