Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies aligned with company objectives in the travel insurance sector.
- Work closely with the Australian Leadership team, Account Directors, and Digital Managers to deliver strategic growth and commercial initiatives.
- Collaborate with senior management to set sales targets, establish key performance indicators (KPIs), and drive performance improvements.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities and inform strategic decisions.
- Prepare, review, and analyze sales reports, P&Ls, and forecasts to assess performance and support commercial decision-making.
- Streamline sales operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and customer experiences.
- Leverage technology solutions to support and enhance sales and commercial activities.
- Collaborate with the Strategic Delivery team to prioritize and align commercial initiatives with business objectives.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including digital, marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure a cohesive approach to sales and distribution.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Actuarial Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales planning, operations, performance analysis, and portfolio management in the financial services sector, with a preference for insurance experience.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a history of developing and executing successful growth plans.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams.
- Experience collaborating with IT teams and proven ability to prioritize and manage technological initiatives effectively.
- Strong operational management skills, including the ability to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Ability to build effective relationships to achieve outcomes and foster team development.
- Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to analyze information to identify risks and opportunities and make informed decisions.
- Proven experience in stakeholder management and the ability to influence others effectively.
- Strong leadership and team management skills to drive performance and foster a positive team environment.
