Indigenous Outreach Professional

This role involves driving innovation in outreach strategies, bridging academia and the Indigenous community. Close collaboration with internal teams and external partners is essential to shape the Centre's public image, influence decision-making, and support its mission in higher education.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies: Create and execute outreach plans aligned with the Centre's goals, overseeing all aspects of marketing and communications.
- Manage Stakeholder Relations: Serve as the primary liaison between external partners and internal teams, ensuring clear communication and timely delivery of marketing campaigns.
- Oversee Brand Consistency: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain a consistent brand identity across all communications channels.
- Coordinate Alumni Engagement: Manage the MURRA Collective, facilitating alumni communications and documenting key event outcomes.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in liaising between external partners and internal teams in a marketing or project management role. Strong skills in managing marketing campaigns, including digital marketing initiatives, are essential. Excellent communication abilities and attention to detail are also required.
- Project Management: Proficiency in project management, including managing approvals processes and meeting deadlines, is necessary.
- Digital Marketing: Experience in digital marketing initiatives, such as social media marketing and email marketing, is desirable.
