
Outreach Coordinator for Indigenous Engagement

As the Indigenous Sector Outreach Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative outreach strategies that bridge academia and the Indigenous community.
You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to shape the Centre's public image, influence decision-making, and support its mission in higher education.
This role offers the chance to make a significant impact on Indigenous engagement while honing your skills in marketing, communications, and stakeholder management.
Responsibilities:- Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies: Create and execute outreach plans aligned with the Centre's goals, overseeing all aspects of marketing and communications.
- Manage Stakeholder Relations: Serve as the primary liaison between external partners and internal teams, ensuring clear communication and timely delivery of marketing campaigns.
- Oversee Brand Consistency: Collaborate with the First Nations Media Manager to maintain a consistent brand identity across all communications channels.
- Coordinate Alumni Engagement: Manage the MURRA Collective, facilitating alumni communications and documenting key event outcomes.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field, with at least four years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience in liaising between external partners and internal teams in a marketing or project management role.
- Strong skills in managing marketing campaigns, including digital marketing initiatives.
- Excellent communication abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in project management, including managing approvals processes and meeting deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills for understanding customer needs and identifying market opportunities.
