Perinatal Mental Health Support Professional

As a dedicated Perinatal Mental Health Specialist, you will provide vital support to parents and their infants experiencing significant mental health issues. This role requires a compassionate and skilled professional who can deliver high-quality, time-limited intensive perinatal mental health support.
About the Role- Deliver direct patient care and consultation within a specialist perinatal mental health service.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to support service delivery and care planning.
- Provide clinical advice and develop education tools or programs for service excellence.
- A social worker or occupational therapist qualification in accordance with NSW Health Service Health Professionals Award and current full registration with AHPRA.
- Extensive postgraduate clinical experience in mental health with families of infants.
- Excellent negotiation, decision-making, and advocacy skills with ability to interact with stakeholders across organisational levels.
- An eligibility list may be created for future Permanent Full Time positions.
- Up to 12 allocated days off per year for full-time employees, in addition to annual leave.
