Job Title: Mental Health Peer Support Worker

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with participants who are experiencing mental illness and other complex needs.
  • Support participants to understand their needs and help them identify challenges and areas of improvement.
  • Collaborate with clients, community, and support agencies to provide integrated and timely services.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Certificate IV in Mental Health Peer Work.
  • Lived or living experience of mental health challenges and a willingness to draw on these experiences when supporting others.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
