Advanced Peer Specialist

We are seeking a passionate and caring professional to join our mental health services team as an Advanced Peer Specialist.

The Statewide Eating Disorder Service (SEDS) is a specialized mental health service providing care to clients across South Australia. As an Advanced Peer Specialist, you will work closely with consumers, building connected and authentic trusting relationships and modelling relatable recovery pathways.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing high-level support and guidance to consumers in their mental health journey
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans
  • Conducting outreach and engagement activities to promote access to mental health services
  • Fostering partnerships with local communities and stakeholders to enhance mental health outcomes
