About the Role

As a key member of our team, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and supporting our generation platform systems. This exciting opportunity will see you design and deliver reliable, high-performing solutions that optimise operations, enhance data insights, and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain integrated generation platform systems.
  • Configure, monitor, and support PI interfaces, adapters, and OPC connections.
  • Provide technical leadership on system architecture, networking, and integration patterns.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration and network issues.
  • Collaborate with business, operations, and technology teams to translate requirements into secure, high-performing solutions.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 5+ years' experience in technology or engineering roles with strong Windows troubleshooting and support expertise.
  • Hands-on experience (3+ years) supporting Aveva/OSIsoft PI environments, including OPC interfaces, adapters, and SQL Server integration.
  • Proficiency in scripting with languages such as PowerShell and Python to automate and optimise system operations.
  • Solid knowledge of IoT technologies and integration patterns, ideally within power generation or industrial environments.
  • Proven DevOps experience working with AWS services, CI/CD practices, and cloud-based architectures.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear messages for non-technical stakeholders.
