Role Overview

Job Description

As a key technical member of the cross-functional Applications Engineering team, you will be critical to accelerating the world's transition to sustainable energy by helping integrate renewable generation and battery storage into utility power systems.

You will design and implement the controls necessary for large battery storage projects, both islanded and connected to the bulk electrical power system.

Responsibilities include developing and deploying monitoring and control schemes for complex utility-scale battery projects, managing design, integration, deployment, and commissioning process for entire SCADA scope, and facilitating implementation of cybersecurity measures required for critical infrastructure telemetry.

What We're Looking For
  • A BS/MS in relevant Engineering discipline with five years' work experience; OR equivalent experience and evidence of exceptional ability.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in implementing communication networks for critical infrastructure including multi-layer network architecture. Networking related certifications are a plus.
  • Experience with implementing industry standard cyber security requirements.
  • Demonstrated application of analysis, design and testing to solve complex engineering problems.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering fundamentals – mechanical, electrical, and thermal – is expected.
