Job Description

We are seeking a skilled BESS/Energy Storage Systems Engineer to join our team in Brisbane. The ideal candidate will have experience in the design and technical support of energy storage projects from conception to completion.

The successful applicant will be responsible for providing technical expertise during detail engineering, ensuring that the energy storage solution is integrated in the final project design, and reviewing technical documentation.

They will also participate in the evaluation of technical proposals, provide engineering support for BESS and PV projects, and collaborate with internal departments involved in project phases.

In addition, they will ensure that the design conforms to all safety, environmental, construction, commissioning, and operating requirements.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced engineer to develop their skills and knowledge in the renewable energy sector.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Electrical / Electronic Engineering Degree
  • Chartered Engineer with RPEng or similar is desirable
  • More than 2 years' experience in energy storage systems
  • Availability to travel for site visits and project execution
  • AutoCAD – Intermediate
  • Knowledge of li-ion battery energy storage systems
