Job Description

Leading overnight operations is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires dedication, strategic thinking, and exceptional leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of night operations across the Front Office and broader hotel environment to ensure seamless service delivery and maximum guest satisfaction.
  • Represent property management overnight, addressing guest and operational concerns with professionalism and empathy, while upholding the highest standards of customer service.
  • Personally handle critical overnight tasks, including late-night arrivals, early departures, and daily audit reconciliation with the Finance team to minimize financial loss and optimize revenue streams.
  • Monitor staff performance, ensure compliance with policies, and uphold service delivery aligned with brand standards, driving performance and motivating the team to meet KPI targets.
  • Proactively resolve guest complaints, ensuring lasting and positive resolutions that foster long-term relationships and loyalty.
  • Analyze financial data and operational trends to identify areas for improvement, implementing corrective action plans that support profitability and service excellence.
Requirements
  • Prior Front Office management experience in a 5-star hotel (Marriott experience an advantage)
  • Experience with OPERA Property Management System or similar
  • Relevant experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with empathy and guest-focus
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback to support and strengthen team performance
  • A valid Driver's License, along with RSA and First Aid certification
  • Full working rights in Australia
