**Job Overview**

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Part-Time Payroll Officer to join our team.

  • Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner for all employees (fortnightly).
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, awards, and organisational policies.
  • Maintain and update payroll records, including leave and superannuation contributions.
  • Assist with payroll reporting and reconciliation tasks as required.
  • Respond to payroll-related enquiries from staff and resolve issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance team to ensure seamless financial operations.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives within payroll operations.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

A successful candidate should have:

  • 3-5 years experience in Australian payroll processing within a professional setting.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, including superannuation and taxation.
  • Attention to detail and high-level accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle queries effectively.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Open to working a Thursday, Friday and Monday week (a must).
  • A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive information.
