Senior Research and Evaluation Officer

Redkite is seeking a highly skilled Senior Research and Evaluation Officer to join our team. As a key member of our research and evaluation team, you will play a critical role in supporting our mission to provide real emotional, financial, and practical support to families facing childhood cancer.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and lead research and evaluation projects to measure outcomes and impact, improve service quality, and drive evidence-based practice.
- Support Redkite's advocacy and thought leadership work in the sector, coordinating research activities with families who have a lived experience of childhood cancer.
- Develop and oversee research to identify practice and service development needs, and commission and oversee critical, systematic, and rapid reviews of relevant information.
- Present research and evaluation findings in a range of forums, including conferences, board and executive meetings, practice meetings, and training events.
- Substantial demonstrated experience (5+ years) in designing, developing, and leading research and/or evaluation projects.
- Tertiary qualification(s) in social science, health, or other related disciplines.
- Substantial working knowledge of a range of quantitative and qualitative methodologies, including surveys, interviews, and focus groups.
- Strong quantitative skills, including comfort with a range of statistical analysis techniques/platforms.
- Skills and experience in using a range of outcomes and impact measurement approaches and techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to develop strategic, productive, and constructive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
