Business Development Manager for Healthcare and Commercial Clients

We are seeking a skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong commercial acumen to further develop their financial skills and build successful customer portfolios.
As a Relationship Executive, you will be responsible for partnering with our Commercial Banking clients to provide meaningful solutions that support their business needs. You will manage a portfolio of Healthcare, Not for Profit and diversified commercial banking customers.
To achieve success in this role, you will have the support of our highly skilled analyst teams and a comprehensive range of innovative products and solutions. You will also have access to market leading technologies that enable you to drive strategy and deal execution with a focus on origination, structuring and negotiation of financial solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a real passion for relationship management and a desire to embed themselves within the regional community. They will have strong commercial acumen, a tertiary qualification in Commerce, Finance or a related field, and experience in building successful customer portfolios and business origination.
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to take their career to the next level and work with a leading financial institution. The estimated salary for this role is $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
About the Role
- Build strong relationships with clients and retain their business through excellent client service; identify and pursue new to bank opportunities;
- Consult closely with clients to gain an in-depth understanding of their individual needs and engage product specialists to deliver a broad range of financial solutions;
- Using your market intelligence, drive strategy and deal execution with a focus on origination, structuring and negotiation of financial solutions;
- Own and drive the proactive risk management responsibilities of the portfolio, working collaboratively with the Analyst teams to support high-quality credit submissions.
