Business Development Manager

We are seeking a Relationship Executive to partner with our Commercial Banking clients and new customers to provide tailored solutions that support their business needs.
In this role, you will manage a diverse portfolio of Healthcare, Not for Profit, and commercial banking customers, leveraging your strong business development skills and market intelligence to drive strategy and deal execution.
As a key member of our team, you will:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, delivering exceptional service and identifying opportunities to grow our business together;
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their unique needs and work with product specialists to deliver a range of financial solutions;
- Utilize your market expertise to drive origination, structuring, and negotiation of financial solutions, ensuring the highest quality submissions;
- Owning proactive risk management responsibilities for the portfolio, working closely with Analyst teams to ensure high-quality credit submissions.
We are looking for someone with:
- Strong commercial acumen and a desire to further develop their financial skills;
- A passion for relationship management and a commitment to building strong connections within the regional community;
- Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Finance, or a related field would be highly regarded;
- Experience in building successful customer portfolios and business origination would be an advantage;
- Experience managing a diversified portfolio would be highly advantageous.
The salary for this position is approximately $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
