About the Role

QIC's Finance Solutions team is responsible for providing finance-related advisory services and solution support across the QIC Group. The team exists to support and maintain QIC Finance applications, enhance process improvements, reporting, and analytics solutions, financial reporting, procurement governance, and technical accounting support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop data strategy roadmaps and drive data integrity.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to build logical and physical data models.
  • Interrogate data to identify anomalies and ensure data integrations are validated.
  • Contribute to data mining initiatives and dashboard visualisation developments.

About You

We're looking for someone who actively engages with the business, has a passion for bringing data to life, and meets the following criteria:

  • Exceptional attention to detail and a curious mindset.
  • Proven experience building data models and automated reports.
  • Strong financial modelling skills and ability to adapt quickly.
  • Ability to work in an agile environment with minimal supervision.
  • Experience with interrogating enterprise systems and proficiency in programming languages (Python, SQL, Java, R) and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Degree in data science, business/commerce, information technology, engineering, or equivalent.
