Job Description: We are seeking an Agricultural Compliance Specialist to join our team in South Australia. As a key member of our inspection team, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and conducting direct inspections of produce to ensure compliance with established Auditing Procedures and Work Instructions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Inspections: Plan, coordinate, and conduct direct inspections of produce, ensuring all activities align with established procedures.
- Deliver Accurate Information: Provide timely and accurate information to individuals, primary producers, market agents, growers, wholesalers, transport companies, and horticultural associations.
- Manage Compliance Matters: Identify and address non-compliant movements, activities, and materials through vigilant monitoring of Manifests and Quarantine Direction Orders.
Requirements for the Position:
- Certificate IV in Government (Statutory Investigation & Enforcement) or equivalent
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or extensive equivalent experience
- Full Driver's License
- National Police Clearance
- Exceptional organisation and communication skills
- Availability to work early mornings and some weekends
