Interior Designer

We are seeking a skilled Interior Designer to join our team. This role involves collaborating with the Design Director to create innovative and functional spaces. You will be responsible for translating designs into comprehensive documentation, analyzing spatial layouts, researching materials, and managing multiple design projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Design Director on design vision and studio requirements.
  • Translate designs into comprehensive documentation.
  • Analyze and optimize spatial layouts.
  • Research and specify materials, furnishings, and finishes.
  • Manage the Council Permit Application process.
  • Submit detailed documentation for tender and prepare budgets.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact to builders or consultants.
  • Manage procurement of materials and furnishings.
  • Conduct regular site inspections.
Requirements:
  • Degree or Diploma in Interior Design.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Commercial Interior Documentation and Project Management.
  • Proficiency in design software (Revit, Autocad, Adobe Suite).
  • Strong understanding of building codes and construction methods.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately under tight deadlines.
  • A strong communicator and team player with flexibility to travel regularly.
