We are seeking a highly skilled Interior Designer to join our team.

Job Description

As an Interior Designer, you will be responsible for collaborating with the Design Director on vision and studio requirements. You will also be responsible for translating designs into comprehensive interior documentation, including construction drawings and specifications. Additionally, you will analyse spatial layouts to enhance functionality and user experience, research and specify materials and furnishings that align with the design vision, manage the Council Permit Application process, submit detailed documentation for tender, prepare budgets, and schedule construction timelines.

You will serve as the primary point of contact to builders or consultants, offering solutions and providing regular updates to the team. Furthermore, you will manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Design Director on vision and studio requirements.
  • Translate designs into comprehensive interior documentation.
  • Analyse spatial layouts to enhance functionality and user experience.
  • Research and specify materials and furnishings.
  • Manage the Council Permit Application process.
  • Submit detailed documentation for tender.
  • Prepare budgets and schedules.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a degree or diploma in Interior Design, minimum 3 years of experience in Commercial Interior Documentation and Project Management, proficiency in design software (Revit, Autocad, Adobe Suite, Canva), and strong understanding of building codes, construction methods, and material specifications.
