Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Structural Design Expert to lead remedial projects from concept through to construction across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, a proactive approach to project delivery, and the ability to manage complex design challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead remedial projects, performing analysis and design of building components, including concrete, steel, timber, and masonry.
  • Prepare and review design documentation, calculations, and engineering reports.
  • Liaise with clients, architects, builders, and other stakeholders for successful project outcomes.
  • Conduct site inspections, attend project meetings, and provide guidance to junior engineers and drafters.
  • Ensure compliance with Australian Standards, Codes, and local regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in structural engineering design.
  • Experience in residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
  • Proficiency in structural analysis software.
  • Strong understanding of Australian Standards and Building Codes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment.
