
Senior Palliative Care Specialist

As an experienced palliative care nurse, you will play a pivotal role in delivering a holistic palliative care service to clients and their families. This involves providing clinical leadership within a multi-disciplinary team across the rural city of Wangaratta and Alpine Shire.
About the Role:
- Act as a senior clinician, utilizing your expertise to guide and advise colleagues on complex cases.
- Provide a clinical resource and advisory/development role, contributing to the growth and development of the palliative care team.
- Undertake projects and research activities focused on advancing palliative care services and improving patient outcomes.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of healthcare professionals in the delivery of palliative care services.
- Develop and implement clinical guidelines and protocols to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to achieve seamless transitions of care.
