Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels, reduce waste, and minimize holding costs.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate inventory data.
  • Inventory Analysis: Analyze inventory trends and provide insights to support decision-making processes.
  • Inventory Accuracy: Lead initiatives to improve inventory accuracy, efficiency, and overall supply chain performance.
  • Forecasting and Planning: Collaborate with key stakeholders to forecast demand and plan inventory needs.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in inventory management, preferably within the food manufacturing industry.
  • Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency in inventory management software and ERP systems – QAD/MFG PRO or Netsuite highly regarded.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of Food Safety and quality standards (HACCP, GMP, BRC).
  • Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
