About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Inventory Supervisor to join our Warehouse Operations team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of our products and providing exceptional service to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Liaise with customers to ensure customer service expectations are met
- Facilitate a safe working environment and investigate incidents
- Escalate significant issues to management, such as stock outs and process compliance
- Suggest corrective measures to prevent future stock issues
- Drive down inventory shrinkage by improving processes
- Complete ad-hoc duties as required
- Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies
- Maintain and improve inventory accuracy
- Investigate and report on stock discrepancies
- Complete stock takes and cycle counts
- Proactively manage inventory-related issues
- Report on results and prepare reports for usage and reconciliation
- Manage a small inventory management team to complete daily/weekly tasks
Requirements:
- Previous experience in warehouse operations and management in retail logistics or FMCG environments
- Ability to lead a team to improve performance and establish processes for good teamwork
- Knowledge of Manhattan WMS is an advantage
- High levels of numeracy, literacy, and analytical capability
- Intermediate MS office skills
- Process improvement and documentation experience
- Qualifications in Warehousing/Inventory Management are well regarded
- Minimum 2-3 years in a similar inventory-related position
