About the Opportunity

This role represents a chance for an experienced HR professional to lead a dedicated team of HR specialists across multiple national sites in Brisbane.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Operations Director, while maintaining close working relationships with senior leaders and regional directors within a complex commercial environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leading a 15-person HR team to enhance the overall People function.
  • Developing line manager capabilities in areas such as labour planning, workforce productivity, performance management, and staff retention.
  • Managing industrial relations, including EBA negotiations, award interpretation, union engagement, and governance compliance.
  • Oversight of onboarding processes, training initiatives, and workforce planning for a diverse and multicultural workforce.
  • Serving as a trusted advisor to operational leaders in a high-volume, dynamic site-based environment.
