About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Coordinator to join our team at Service Stream. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for timely receipt of payment for VRMC Services and compliance with Contract and Service Stream financial reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Submit payment claims to TfV for completed works and invoicing when claim is approved
- Monitor outstanding invoices, liaising with TfV representatives to ensure payment is received in line with Contract terms
- Review payment claims submitted by delivery partners (subcontractors) and process for payment in line with agreed payment terms
- Raise purchase orders for goods and services
- Liaise with TfV and delivery partner representatives to resolve AP / AR issues
- Maintain finance systems, procedures and processes and support the Business & Performance Manager with financial analysis and reporting
About You:
You will have at least three years' experience in a comparable role, ideally in directly relevant industries such as civil engineering, road construction / maintenance, resources or heavy manufacturing. You will demonstrate advanced Excel skills and experience with enterprise-grade financial management systems, sound knowledge of financial reporting and budgeting processes, well-developed interpersonal skills, and strong time management skills.
