About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Finance Coordinator to join our team at Service Stream. The successful candidate will be responsible for timely receipt of payment for VRMC Services and compliance with Contract and Service Stream financial reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Submitting payment claims to TfV for completed works and invoicing when claim is approved
  • Monitoring outstanding invoices, liaising with TfV representatives to ensure payment is received in line with Contract terms
  • Reviewing payment claims submitted by delivery partners (subcontractors) and processing for payment in line with agreed payment terms
  • Raising purchase orders for goods and services
  • Liaising with TfV and delivery partner representatives to resolve AP / AR issues
  • Maintaining finance systems, procedures and processes and supporting the Business & Performance Manager with financial analysis and reporting

About You:

To be successful in this role, you'll have at least three years' experience in a comparable role, ideally in directly relevant industries such as civil engineering, road construction / maintenance, resources or heavy manufacturing.

You'll demonstrate advanced Excel skills and experience with enterprise-grade financial management systems, sound knowledge of financial reporting and budgeting processes, and well-developed interpersonal skills.

Formal qualifications (Cert IV or higher) in accounting/book-keeping or a commercial discipline are a bonus, but not essential if you can demonstrate equivalent knowledge and capability.
