We are seeking a skilled Mining Supervisor to lead and mentor a crew of operators. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in alignment with production targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage operational resources including personnel, plant, and equipment to achieve safety, quality, and performance objectives.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and daily interactions to support and engage the workforce.
  • Provide hands-on technical and practical support to operators on site.
  • Monitor and drive team performance to meet key KPIs aligned with company goals.
  • Promote and maintain a strong safety culture, ensuring best practices are followed at all times.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience working within a mining and production environment.
  • Demonstrated 2 years' supervisory experience in an operational production environment.
  • Hold G1, G8, G9 formally S1, S2, S3 is essential.
  • Experience in loader and road train haulage operations.
  • Pro-active approach to equipment efficiency and waste reduction.
  • Ability to build win-win relationships with direct and indirect stakeholders to create successful outcomes.
  • Dynamic leadership style to understand, build, and coach teams for success.
  • Understand operational constraints and identify actions to deliver the mine plan.
  • Takes ownership for teams' outcomes and delivers action plans to mitigate future occurrences.
