Lead Environmental Consultant Role

A leading position in environmental consulting has become available within our Adelaide team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and planning projects, as well as conducting environmental impact assessments for major infrastructure, renewables, mining, and government sectors throughout South Australia.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in delivering approvals within South Australia and hold strong knowledge of environmental and planning legislation, regulations, standards, and best practices.

Key responsibilities include project management, project team management, quality assurance, and client engagement. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and driven individual who is able to lead high-performing project teams, mentor staff, grow their external networks, and utilize their skills to solve complex problems for our clients.

  • Qualifications in environmental science or related degree discipline
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in environmental impact assessment or planning and approvals (SA experience essential)
  • Strong knowledge of environmental and planning legislation, regulations, standards, and best practices
  • Experience managing medium to large projects through the development spectrum
  • Adaptability to undertake a range of technical work based on project requirements
  • Experience in mentoring and developing staff
