Senior Environmental Consultant

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Environmental Consultant to lead our environmental approvals team in South Australia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering strategic environmental impact assessments and regulatory approvals for major clients across SA and nationally.

About the Role

  • Lead environmental impact assessments and regulatory approvals (EP Act, EPBC Act, bilateral processes)
  • Advising clients on approvals pathways, environmental constraints and risk
  • Preparing and reviewing reports, referrals, EIS/EMP documentation and submissions
  • Liaising with state and federal regulators, clients and community stakeholders
  • Mentoring junior staff and building local capability
  • Supporting business development and strategic growth in SA

Requirements

  • Degree in Environmental Science, Planning, or related field
  • 15+ years' experience in environmental approvals in SA or interstate
  • Solid understanding of state and Commonwealth environmental legislation
  • Strong communication and project leadership skills
  • A desire to shape and grow something meaningful
