The Role

We're seeking an experienced National Import Sea Coordinator to ensure timely and accurate processing of ocean freight import shipments, meeting both business and client-specific KPIs. You will contribute to strategic goals by effectively managing daily routines and adapting to changing priorities and customer needs.

A Day in the Life:

  • You will register and validate shipments, ensuring origin compliance and managing documents.
  • Transhipment management and compliance will be overseen, including sea cargo reporting and delivery order management.
  • Invoices will be raised, and forwarding-related costs managed.
  • You will review compliance of forwarding documents like arrival notices and outturn reports.

What We Need:

  • Experience in the Shipping/Freight Forwarding industry (ideally within a similar role).
  • You should be computer literate with a strong client focus and service ethic.
  • You will need to be methodical, organised, and detail-oriented, with knowledge of freight forwarding (preferred).
  • An understanding of business concepts, organisational knowledge, and profitability is essential.
  • Results-oriented, resilient, with strong analytical and commercial focus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, especially listening.
  • A team player with a natural tendency towards collaboration and influencing others.

What You'll Get:
