Job Summary

This position is accountable for leading and managing the assessment of capability and capacity needs for Learning and Development across volunteers and staff within the Region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the service delivery of Learning and Development programs that enable an all communities, all emergencies approach to emergency management.
  • Maintain accreditation by the Emergency Management Commissioner, ensuring the appropriate advice and allocation of resources for emergency readiness and response.
  • Perform senior multi-agency Incident or Regional Controller or Agency Command functions.
Requirements
  • The successful candidate will need to be able to travel from their home or another non-work location to the Regional office or nominated ICC within 60 minutes from being notified when rostered on as the Duty Officer Outside of Ordinary Hours.
