Healthcare Professional Leadership Opportunity

Melbourne City Institute of Education is a leading vocational education and training provider, offering high-quality courses and services in the Vocational Education and Training sector.

We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee the delivery, management, and operations of our health, aged care, and disability support qualifications.

The successful candidate will actively contribute to achieving the institute's strategic objectives by working closely with internal and external stakeholders.

To be considered for this role, you will have:

  • A qualification in training and assessment or higher qualification
  • Significant experience at an operational level in coordinating or managing health, aged, and disability care qualifications
  • Demonstrated commitment to delivering quality vocational training and education programs
  • A comprehensive understanding of Community Services and Health training packages and standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage a team
  • Ability to contribute to ongoing review and continuous improvement of vocational education and training programs
  • Ability to comply with reporting requirements and maintain records

Responsibilities include:

  • Establishing industry partnerships
  • Providing leadership to support the delivery of quality courses
  • Managing course requirements and expectations of each student, work placement host employers, and employers
  • Monitoring and supporting student progress
  • Establishing new and maintaining existing industry links
  • Ensuring compliance with all standards and internal requirements for program delivery
  • Dissemination of relevant information to employers, students, and industry
  • Maintaining personal professional development as it relates to the role
  • Supporting the marketing of the department and courses

The healthcare leader is responsible for the delivery of the following qualifications:
