**Job Description:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Healthcare Program Manager to lead a small team in overseeing statewide specialist policy and programs. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing a portfolio of projects, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and driving improvement across the health system.

Key Responsibilities:)

  • Lead a small team to oversee statewide specialist policy and programs relating to existing statewide specialty programs, blood, organ transplant, and palliative care programs.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop effective relationships and achieve project goals.
  • Exercise strong attention to detail, systems thinking mindset, and excellent communication skills to support key initiatives that drive improvements across the health system.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification is desirable.
  • Experience in health system program management and knowledge of special programs.
  • Sound leadership and people management skills, as well as an ability to influence others to maximise efficiency and effectiveness of the Victorian health workforce and improve outcomes for Victorians.
