About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Area Manager to join our team at Carers for You. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of our services to clients across the region.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Assess incoming work offers to ensure alignment with our company values and mission.
  2. Ensure sufficient qualified contractors are available to complete tasks, addressing safety, cost viability, and cultural awareness.
  3. Maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and contractors.
  4. Regularly promote our company profile in the marketplace.
  5. Provide advocacy services for clients as needed.
  6. Be available for day-to-day operational matters during weekdays.
  7. Resolve urgent operational issues promptly to minimize impact.

Personnel Management

  1. Ensure sufficient qualified contractors are available to deliver services.
  2. Conduct interviews for new contractors as required.
  3. Verify contractor details and qualifications.

Operations and Client Satisfaction

  1. Regularly survey clients to ensure expectations are met.
  2. Maintain accurate rosters.
  3. Follow up on client satisfaction and complete area overview documents.
  4. Reconcile rosters fortnightly and address inconsistencies.

Requirements

  1. Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  2. Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  3. National Police Certificate.
  4. Valid Queensland Driver's License.
  5. Strong customer focus.
  6. Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
  7. Certificate 3 in Individual Support - Aged Care or Disabilities, or willingness to obtain within a reasonable timeframe.
  8. Current Senior First Aid Certificate.

Job Type: Subcontract, Casual, Contract
Contract length: 360 months

Pay: $38.00 – $42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
