Job Overview:

This Part-Time Customer Service Officer position at Sydney Airport offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and possess exceptional communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide check-in services to airport customers
  • Handle reservation, ticket sales, and collection of payments
  • Perform pre- and post-flight duties, including flight editing
  • Maintain accurate sales reports and records
  • Assist with aircraft receipt and dispatch, as well as operate computer systems
  • Stay up-to-date on Departure Control System (DCS) knowledge and perform Rex Lounge duties
  • Provide assistance to special needs customers and help with damaged or lost baggage enquiries
  • Comply with company safety policies and standard operating procedures

Essential Qualifications:

  • Able to obtain an ASIC (Aviation Security Identification Card)
  • Hold a Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including early starts, evenings, and weekends
  • Teamwork and commitment to on-time performance
  • Previous customer service experience is mandatory
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, along with a professional image and presentation
  • High degree of computer literacy and ability to work independently
