Job Title: Experienced Accountant - Taxation Expertise
About the Role:
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced accountant to join our dynamic team in Logan Central. As a contract accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting clients with their taxation requirements. This position offers flexibility and the chance to work with a diverse range of clients within the accounting and taxation industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing and lodging tax returns for individual and business clients
- Liaising with clients to understand their unique taxation needs and provide tailored solutions
- Staying up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and best practices
- Collaborating with the broader team to deliver exceptional client service
Requirements:
- A recognised accounting qualification (e.g., CPA or CA) with 3+ years of experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of Australian taxation laws and regulations
- Proficiency in using accounting software and tax preparation tools (Xero Tax an advantage)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
