Intermediate Accountant Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Intermediate Accountant to join our team. As an Intermediate Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing complex Tax Returns and Financial Statements for a range of entities, managing and delivering assigned work within agreed timeframes, communicating with clients to resolve queries and provide updates, and collaborating with the team to meet deadlines and budget targets.

The ideal candidate will have a degree-qualified accounting background with a minimum of 4 years' experience in a public practice, demonstrating critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills, proven ability to manage timeframes and communicate clearly, and proficiency in Xero, MYOB and converting data into Financial Statements. Strong knowledge of Tax & GST legislation, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to manage your time and work independently are also essential.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare complex Tax Returns and Financial Statements for a range of entities.
  • Manage and deliver assigned work within agreed timeframes.
  • Communicate with clients to resolve queries and provide updates.
  • Collaborate with the team to meet deadlines and budget targets.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Degree-qualified accountant with a minimum of 4 years' experience in a public practice.

  • Proven ability to manage timeframes and communicate clearly.
  • Proficient in Xero, MYOB and converting data into Financial Statements.
