Project Officer
About the RoleOur organisation is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking research and analysis into domestic and family violence (DFV) deaths and reportable deaths generally.
Main Responsibilities- Monitor progress and reporting on implementation of major reform initiatives, including recommendations made by the Board.
- Maintain knowledge of current and emerging issues relevant to the DFV Death Review and Advisory Board (the Board) to contribute to timely and well-researched briefings, meeting papers, submissions, presentations, and correspondence.
- Contribute to departmental projects and programs related to the coronial system, including through the preparation of written briefing material and presentations.
- Contribute to project planning, monitoring, and reporting in accordance with departmental standards and system requirements.
- Support the implementation of policies, programs, projects, and initiatives to contribute to the achievement of the vision and objectives of our organisation.
- Actively contribute, as a member of the team, to the good governance of our organisation.
- A high level of analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
