About The Role

The Workplace Support Specialist role was established to support workplaces in creating healthy, effective, and Christ-centred environments. Since its establishment, the role has built a strong foundation for providing support, enabling workplaces to navigate matters with confidence and care.

This is a unique opportunity to combine your professional expertise with your Christian faith to serve and strengthen local communities. You will achieve this by:

  • ">
  • Working closely with regional leaders to ensure sound practices are understood and followed.">
  • Developing a deep understanding of the nature of workers in the context of our organisation.">
  • Providing strategic and operational support to leadership teams.">
  • Developing and driving initiatives to address and grow healthy workplace relationships.">
  • Proactively addressing systemic issues that impact the effective functioning of workplaces.">
  • Supporting change management and systems implementation across workplaces.">

About You

">

The successful applicant will be someone who has extensive experience in providing support, who is passionate about delivering high-quality support and who is able to develop a deep understanding of the nature of workers in our context. You will have:

  • ">
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field.">
  • Proven experience in providing support, ideally in a similar context.">
  • Strong knowledge of relevant laws and best practices.">
  • Demonstrated experience in influencing others and building strong relationships with stakeholders.">
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.">
  • Experience and/or knowledge of our organisation is an advantage.">
