Organ and Tissue Donation Coordinator - End of Life Care Specialist
Job Summary:The Organ and Tissue Donation Coordinator plays a crucial role in end-of-life care, acting as a liaison between healthcare services and ensuring the seamless donation process.
This position involves education, resource provision, and process development to optimize organ and tissue donation after voluntary assisted dying. The successful candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Liaise with healthcare services to facilitate organ and tissue donation after voluntary assisted dying.
- Develop and deliver education programs for nursing and clinical staff on organ and tissue donation.
- Create processes and protocols to ensure efficient donation procedures.
- Promote research and publishing on end-of-life care and organ donation.
The ideal candidate will have experience in critical care nursing and be proficient in developing and delivering education programs. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.
