Practice Educator Opportunity
Monash University's Department of Occupational Therapy is seeking to appoint sessional Teaching Associates. Opportunities exist for keen occupational therapists to join our team of Practice Educators in the Department of Occupational Therapy at Monash University.
We are seeking registered occupational therapists as Practice Educators across a variety of fieldwork settings in which Monash University undergraduate and masters entry level occupational therapy students undertake professional practice placements and simulated placements.
Practice educators must be registered occupational therapists with a minimum of two years professional practice experience since graduation, and prior experience of providing occupational therapy placement-based education is desirable.
Professional practice experience in one or more of the specific practice areas listed above is preferred (not essential). Practice educators are part-time, with flexible schedules depending on the type and duration of student placements.
A Working with Children Check (WWCC) is required. Depending on the nature of the placement sites, a National Disability Insurance Scheme Worker Screening Check (NDIS Check) may also be required.
