About the Role

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team at Everyday Independence, a dynamic organization committed to changing the game for people with disabilities. As an Occupational Therapist, you will provide life-changing occupational therapy to NDIS participants across the lifespan in Peninsula and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide occupational therapy services to NDIS participants in diverse settings, including homes, schools, playgrounds, workplaces, and community centers.
  • Utilize evidence-based measurement tools and skills in assessment to create therapy plans and provide life-changing occupational therapy to support participants in achieving their goals and maximizing NDIS funding.
  • Work within an interdisciplinary team of passionate and dedicated allied health professionals.
  • Build meaningful relationships with participants and their supports, including family, carers, and friends.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • General AHPRA Registration.
  • A positive and flexible approach to work.
  • Strong communication skills and a team player.
  • Commitment to personal and professional development.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check.
  • Working with Children's Check.
