About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team in a 12-month fixed full-time leadership role. As a clinical specialist and team leader, you will be responsible for providing clinical Occupational Therapy services to clients using advanced clinical practice skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Occupational Therapy team and provide supervision and mentorship to clinical staff
  • Collaborate closely with nursing, medical, and other allied health professionals
  • Develop and implement evidence-based Occupational Therapy practices within the department
  • Lead administrative portfolios, quality improvement initiatives, and/or research projects
Requirements
  • Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
  • Member of OT Australia (or eligible for membership)
  • Current Victorian Driver's License (unrestricted)
  • Current Working with Children's Check
  • Relevant clinical experience in Occupational Therapy, including a minimum of four (4) years' experience in a similar rehabilitation setting
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to undertake professional supervision and promote professional competence of other Occupational Therapy staff members
  • High level of communication and interpersonal skills
