Support Worker - Homelessness Prevention

We're looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Support Worker in homelessness prevention. As a Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in helping individuals and families who are at risk of losing their private rental homes.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide time-limited, outreach-based case management, with a strong focus on early intervention, advocacy, and community connection.

You'll work closely with clients to establish and sustain private rental tenancies, building trusted relationships with real estate agents and landlords to identify and prevent tenancies at risk.

Our ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Social Work or a similar field, and significant experience in housing, real estate, or community services.

The role requires a natural ability to build trust and work collaboratively with clients, landlords, service providers, and colleagues.

Responsibilities:
  • Support clients to establish and sustain private rental tenancies.
  • Build trusted relationships with real estate agents and landlords.
  • Help people navigate complex challenges.
What We Offer:

We offer a range of benefits including salary packaging up to $15,900 tax free and meal entertainment benefit. Generous paid parental leave and purchased leave scheme are also available.

Ongoing training and development opportunities will enhance your skills and proficiency. A rewarding and fulfilling purpose-driven career is waiting for the right candidate.
