We are seeking a skilled Contracts Administrator to manage commercial projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a focus on high-end delivery and client correspondence.
This role involves working closely with department managers and site supervisors to complete projects on time, on budget, and to the highest standard of workmanship for our clients.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing all site documentation, liaising with Architects, Engineers, Superintendents, and Building Surveyors, reviewing tenders, and certifying and processing subcontractor progress claims and material invoices.
A strong understanding of construction administration principles and practices is essential for this role.
Required Skills & Qualifications- High level of computer literacy including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project.
- High level of client liaison and customer service experience.
- Being highly organized and having a strong track record in contracts administration within the commercial sector.
- High level of written and spoken communication skills.
- Confidence and willingness to work in a team environment.
- Experience liaising, procuring, and negotiating with sub-contractors and suppliers.
- Experience in submitting and approval of RFI's, EOT's, and Contract Variations.
- Ideally 2+ years of experience in the construction sector (residential or commercial) in project management, contract administration, project procurement, etc.
