The Opportunity:

Join our Commercial Team as we expand our commercial and government procurement footprint. We are looking for a motivated and commercially savvy individual to take on a newly created role, Commercial Tender & Contracts Lead.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead the end-to-end tendering function across our Commercial division, targeting contracts with government departments, educational institutions, and corporate customers.
  • Work cross-functionally to develop compelling proposals, pricing strategies, and streamlined processes that enable us to win more work in a rapidly evolving procurement landscape.
  • Be responsible for building and leading the team's tendering capability from scratch, identifying and pursuing procurement opportunities, and ensuring all responses meet compliance and submission requirements.
  • Manage internal workflows and documentation to support timely and accurate submissions, track tender outcomes, report on performance, and implement improvements to increase win rates.
  • Collaborate with broader departments to drive commercial outcomes, supporting commercial project delivery across logistics, fulfillment, and customer service functions.

Requirements:

  • A degree in a relevant field (Commerce, Business or similar).
  • Experience in commercial sales, business development, or account management.
  • Experience in government or B2B procurement processes – tender experience preferred.
  • An excellent communicator with strong coordination and stakeholder engagement skills, highly organized, and able to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Proactive, with a mindset geared towards building and improving internal processes, confident working cross-functionally to support commercial outcomes across departments.
