Commercial Contract Manager

Commercial construction projects involve a wide range of stakeholders and complexities. As a Contract Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of these projects.
Key Responsibilities- Contract Preparation and Negotiation: You will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and negotiating construction contracts and variations to ensure that they meet the needs of all parties involved.
- Subcontractor Management: You will manage subcontractor documentation and correspondence to ensure that all necessary information is provided in a timely manner.
- Tender Coordination: You will coordinate tender responses and liaise with design and project teams to ensure that all requirements are met.
- Commercial Reporting: You will support accurate commercial reporting and tracking of project compliance to ensure that all financial aspects of the project are managed effectively.
- Educational Qualifications: A diploma in building and construction or similar qualification is required for this role.
- Work Experience: Strong experience (typically 3+ years) in contract/admin roles within commercial construction is essential.
- Contracting Models: A comprehensive understanding of commercial contracting models is necessary to succeed in this position.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and attention to detail skills are required to manage stakeholder expectations and deliver results.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with Victoria commercial and government project environments and stakeholder dynamics is highly desirable.
