The Role


We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager who will take the reins of all areas within the Beresford Precinct. You will be the face of this iconic space and drive an exceptional experience for our guests.


This rare opportunity will see you driving one of our biggest precincts, reporting to the General Manager. You will be responsible for:



  • Delivery of the venue budget, objectives, and deliverables;
  • Driving agreed financial focuses with the team, and cascading consistent messages and targets;
  • Delivering quality guest experience through carefully curated food, beverages, retail, operations, and ambiance;
  • Driving innovation in venue (group) direction and product development;
  • Exhibiting and maintaining an elite level of leadership across all areas of the business;
  • Driving cohesion and performance between the venue team and other business stakeholders to deliver results;
  • Supporting, developing, and driving asset protection and risk mitigation strategies, including but not limited to food safety, licensing, and regulatory compliance;
  • Recruiting, inducting, and retaining key talent;
  • Partnering effectively with key community stakeholders.

To be successful in this role, you will:



  • Have a strong background in licensee and compliance;
  • Have previously worked within a similar role within a large-scale or multi-site venue and understand complex environments;
  • Have a hospitality background with knowledge across Work Health & Safety, and Regulatory Compliance, which is highly advantageous;
  • Be a commercially astute people manager, with demonstrated experience in your field;
  • Have exceptional financial acumen;
  • Bring ideas and initiative to the table and drive growth in your venue;
  • Be truly passionate about leading and developing a team, and well-connected to your industry.
